The AI Creator Camp helps kids move from passive scrolling to purposeful creating with Claude, AI-powered images, video tools, and classic foundational skills that strengthen storytelling, teach media literacy, and help them create with purpose.

What students will do

Students will use guided AI and media tools to plan concepts, create visual assets, write prompts, shape creative ideas, and build a project they can explain with confidence.

What to bring

A charged laptop or Chromebook is recommended, along with headphones, water, and any needed login information. If device access is an issue, let us know in the form so we can follow up.

Ikenga Science may document class activities for internal review and program promotion. We will avoid posting student-identifying details without appropriate permission.

Do students need experience?

No. Beginners are welcome, and students with more experience will still have room to push their ideas further.

Do they need a laptop?

Yes, if possible. A charged laptop or Chromebook is recommended. Contact us before registering if device access is a problem.

Is this a coding class?

No. This is an AI, storytelling, design, and media creation lab. No coding is required.

Is AI safe for kids?

Students use guided prompts, structured activities, and adult instruction. We teach AI as a creative assistant, not a replacement for their own thinking.

Will they finish a project?

Yes. Students leave with a project concept or creative asset they can explain, revise, and build on.

Can schools, libraries, or organizations book a private workshop?
